Scott did not end up getting thrown in the water because he held on to his blackberry. He knew they wouldn't throw him in with it.

This is what we do. We swim/float/or watch people in the lake.

Dad likes to fish with the grandkids either on the canoe or on the dock almost every day. They are very enthusiastic and the fish bite often off the dock (the little ones).

At my parents we go strawberry picking. I love it because the strawberries are perfectly ripe, and they encourage you to eat them as you pick :)

There are 14 grandkids now in my parents' family. They range from age 4 mo. - 14yrs. They get along really well and it's fun watching them play.

Summer Days

We have been having a lot of fun this summer. Even though we are at that wonderfully universal point where we are waiting for the rest of our lives to start, and we have no idea where we are going yet - we still love where we are and this special time.

and Courtney looks like she's cursing she the fact that she didn't.

We went to the petting zoo a couple weeks ago with Grandma E,
and Wes had a lot of fun telling the animals what sounds they make.
