Nobody knows the truffles I've seen!

Our sweet brother David gave Sarah, Winny, and me a box of spectacular chocolates for Valentines Day. I am posting pictures so he knows how much we enjoyed them. For those of you who didn't get to try any, I'm truly sorry. These were the absolute best chocolates I've ever tasted in my life, and Sarah and Winny (and Scott and Brandon) all agree.

We had to eat them in the Carlsruh tradition, sharing nibbles and comparing flavors.

This is for Sarah, who said Wes had her laughing with his goofy angry face. He couldn't quite look angry though he was smiling so much.

Sugar Cookies a la Weston

The activity lasted about as long as it took Wes to figure out they were edible.

I'm posting pictures just because. Thank you Mark for these, we found them on our camera after you babysat.

In honor of Valentines Day, I changed our profile picture to a kissing picture of me and Scott - from 2005! This will be our 5th Valentines together, and it gets better every year.

p.s. I don't care if you don't like to see other people kiss!

p.p.s. Weston has been exonerated from losing my phone, Scott found it in outside once the snow had melted. Yes, it's ruined, and yes, I have a (lame) new phone.

help me with this child

I have lost my cell phone. I could blame myself. Most people would. But I like to think that Weston is the culprit. He may seem like an easy scapegoat, but once you understand his history of "stashing" you may wonder where the cell phone might turn up as well...

places I've found things:
- a sippy cup of grape juice in my underwear drawer
- Wes' toothbrush in the cubby seat of his bus
- balls in the toilet water, with the seat closed
- my wallet under the bathroom sink in my hairtie basket
- books in the trashcan
-Wes' entire magnet collection in the trashcan
- toys in Scott's book bag
- about 20 small toys discovered under the oven one day
- balls in the printer-ink compartment
- crayons in the printer paper storage compartment
- balls in my laundry basket
- balls in his laundry basket (daily)
- toys/anything in the bathtub (daily)

fun with dinosaurs

To speak to David's claim that this blog is a homage to Weston: yes, it is (mostly) pictures of Weston, but frankly no one wants to see pictures of me folding laundry or reading, or Scott at the bank or doing his homework. :) When Scott and I do super cool stuff and I approve said pictures of myself doing super cool things I will put those pictures up.
