Halloween!

What fun Halloween is with a 2 year old. Wes was a Dinosaur and as expected enjoyed dressing up, trick or treating, and eating candy.

Trick or treating with Kristi and Kalli (and mom and dad, not shown)

We tried to practice saying "trick or treat" at Nana and Papa's house before making the rounds, but it wasn't so successful. In lieu of talking to strangers who answered the door he just put his hand out to let them know what he was there for.

Why Wes is all grown up (so tell him to quit it)

He is now sleeping in a toddler bed. What luck we had that this was an easy transition! He gets himself breakfast (Not something I encourage! He just helped himself to a box of Wheat Thins this morning when we weren't paying attention.)

He is potty training! Excuse the nudity :)

He plays with Hot Wheals like a big boy.

He reads us stories now.

He makes lots and lots of airplanes with his legos.

He wears mommies' shoes around the house. I'm not sure if this makes him all grown up but it's cute.

He finds the markers and uses himself as a canvas. Hmm.

Fall Activities

We have had a fun Fall, taking advantage of the many activities that come in October: pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and fall leaves in the canyon.

We were also lucky enough to have Grandpa Calrsruh visit this October. It was really awesome getting to spend time with him one-on-one, and also spending time with Dan and Lacey and their kids before they moved (sob) to Atlanta.

pictures of stuff

Bath time, still a favorite activity

Decorating sugar cookies. Weston helped bake them too.

Sharing a snack with one of his friends, Avery.

Dan's family visiting for Sunday dinner. Dan is growling because I'm taking a picture, not because of what Scot is saying (I think).
Wes and Grace are good friends
Lily bean

Weston has been taking a Tumbling class this month. He really enjoys it and today I snapped a few pictures.

It's a GIRL

Ultra Sounds are fun. We got to find out that we are having a little girl (due mid-February). We also got to watch her wiggle around, see her toes and fingers, and realize that this is for real.
Here are some pictures from the Ultra Sound.

They ate a lot of graham crackers.
