This is not posed, just Weston trying hard to be like Dad.
(except for the gloves, he decided to wear those all day)

Another singing video, this time the ABC's!

Fun Movies

I have a few movies to post of Wes. Better to do it now before I have Christmas pictures to put up later this week.

This one is called: My Camera

This one is of our little performer singing "Twinkle Twinkle". Like most performers, he doesn't know when to stop.

Some other things that have happened recently.
We celebrated Scott's 27th Birthday!

And Sarah came to visit us from D.C. (second from left).

November and December...

We had a nice Thanksgiving at the Elmers this year. Kathy made lots of delicious food and it was a fun family day. Here is Scott and Mark doing dishes - worth a picture.

I just thought this was a funny picture of our teenage son sleeping. He likes his sleep and acts like he's seventeen when you try and wake him up.

Christmas decorations are up!

This Nativity I just painted. The wooden figures were given to me last Christmas and it was great project. It's also my first Nativity set.

Scott and I went to Vegas this past weekend, sans Weston (thank you Grandma and Grandpa and Lissa). Scott had a law school interview but we also took it as a time to relax and spend time together.
The Bellagio Brunch. This was plate number #1.

Cool shark tank at our hotel. That tube going through it is a slide you can ride but it was so cold I couldn't bare to put my swimsuit on.
Pretty Christmas decorations. I took a lot of pictures but most of them were of snowmen and reindeers for Weston. We missed him but he didn't miss us very much. A little disappointing but my mom said it's because he's "well adjusted". A positive spin on everything mom!

Halloween!

What fun Halloween is with a 2 year old. Wes was a Dinosaur and as expected enjoyed dressing up, trick or treating, and eating candy.

Trick or treating with Kristi and Kalli (and mom and dad, not shown)

We tried to practice saying "trick or treat" at Nana and Papa's house before making the rounds, but it wasn't so successful. In lieu of talking to strangers who answered the door he just put his hand out to let them know what he was there for.

Why Wes is all grown up (so tell him to quit it)

He is now sleeping in a toddler bed. What luck we had that this was an easy transition! He gets himself breakfast (Not something I encourage! He just helped himself to a box of Wheat Thins this morning when we weren't paying attention.)

He is potty training! Excuse the nudity :)

He plays with Hot Wheals like a big boy.

He reads us stories now.

He makes lots and lots of airplanes with his legos.

He wears mommies' shoes around the house. I'm not sure if this makes him all grown up but it's cute.

He finds the markers and uses himself as a canvas. Hmm.
