We went to the "beach" today, a.k.a., another lake in the neighborhood with a sandy shore.

Fourth of July Picnic

Our Fourth of July plans included seeing the Balloon Launch and having a Picnic. We didn't make it to the Balloon Launch on time because the stupid Parade blocked us in on all four sides! Minus ONE road that took us too long to find. Yes I'm bitter, I was very excited to see the hot air balloons.
We did have a nice Picnic though in the Canyon and here are a few pictures. Wes and I miss you already Scott! (He left this morning.)

We went to the Animal Farm at Thanksgiving Point with Scott's family. We had a great time seeing the animals up close. All the pictures are of Weston and Scott because I was holding the camera. Weston was pretty brave and petted (or grabbed at) a cow, goat, and horse.

In addition, I wanted to share the cutest 10 month old in the world

Wes and I are mourning the loss of Winny moving home for two months (she left yesterday) but we are both looking forward to seeing her in Green Bay, along with almost everyone else, in two weeks!

I've got to keep people coming, so I'm adding new content to my blog even though I don't feel like I have much new to contribute. I promise once Scott and I do something as interesting/cute as Weston I will post that too.
